Finance & Administration Assistant
TI977414 – Salary: AED 18,000-20,000/- plus benefits
This is a lovely position, where you will be part of a close knit team in a small, but dynamic Family Office in Dubai with global business interests across a variety of industries. We are seeking an energetic individual who understands the concept of Family Office and can add value across a wide administrative scope.
The position is varied and dual-faceted, providing full finance administrative support to the Finance & Legal Manager and further office administration and back office support to the Office Manager. The role will encompass, managing all bank reconciliations, expenses, payments to suppliers and negotiating new agreements and contracts with suppliers, researching, and analyzing data and ensuring invoices are VAT compliant. The office works very collaboratively and the individual needs to be flexible and team focused.
A strong understanding of IT and numerical ability is important, but no formal accountancy qualification is required. However, candidates must be able to demonstrate experience with Excel; the use of Pivot tables and v and h look up in particular. Preparation of financial reports will also mean that PowerPoint skills will be advanced. It is important that the candidate understands this is a small office environment, hence we are seeking a highly disciplined and self-motivated candidate, with a ‘can do’ attitude, who possesses a willingness to contribute, determinedly and professionally, whether the task is large or small. Attention to detail, coupled with discretion is also a key factor to success in this role.
We are seeking candidates with 3-5 years of professional experience and a strong, stable career history. Excellent research and analytical skills, combined with common sense and negotiation acumen are vital in this position.
