The Film Specialist is responsible for providing high quality video and audio services in the creation of advertising content for Al Mana Media’s clients. We are looking for someone that can take a brief and bring creativity and storytelling to it.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Conceptualize, brainstorm and present ideas for film and photo content.
- Provide pre-production services including internal consulting, scriptwriting, storyboarding, scouting and scheduling,.
- Complete production related tasks, including studio and outdoor photography, creative and event videography, sound recording, lighting and camera operation.
- Create engaging film and video edits, using sound design, color correction and motion graphics.
- Repurpose existing footage and client provided materials to create deliverables.
- Work with and direct talent and models for photo and video shoots.
- Maintain and manage footage and edits, in-house production equipment and studio spaces.
About You
We are looking for someone that holds the following skills and experience:
- Exemplary visual storytelling skills with deep knowledge of the narrative journey.
- Exemplary creative thinking and problem-solving skills across the film production process.
- Exemplary technical ability in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Exemplary technical ability with an array of film equipment (cameras, audio, lighting, grip).
- Animation and motion graphics skills desirable.
- Ability to work individually and in a team, including directing internal/external teams and production crews.
- Knowledge of the film/video production process.
- Ability to work independently to tight deadlines.
- Qualifications in film, communication, marketing, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to follow and deliver briefs.
- Arabic speaking is preferred but not required
