We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior IT Security Engineer to join our Qatar-based client. Our client is a wealth manager with vast assets under management. We would prefer someone who has worked as a systems or network administrator for several years before moving into IT security.

Preferred applicants will have extensive, technical, hands-on nitty-gritty experience of working in the IT security domain (this role isn’t about information security) and will be intimately familiar with items such as the following: *Security Operations Centre *FireEye products *Sandboxes *Sandboxing incoming network traffic – isolating inbound threats from the live environment *Application security *End point security *Application Firewalls *Assessment of security vulnerabilities *Email security If your experience looks a bit like this: ” ArcSight SIEM, Log Management/Collection, F5, FireEye Sandbox, Cisco SourceFire IDS/IPS, CyberArk PIM, McAfee/Symantec End Point Protection, DLP, File Integrity Monitoring, DDos mitigation, CDN, PKI, mobile security …” And: ” providing High Level design, Solutioning and Roadmaps using industry best practise and security technologies to provide enterprise security solutions/frameworks ” Our client would like to speak with you. You will need to have a Bachelor’s degree (essential) ideally in Computer Science or Information Systems, and one or more of the following certifications, ISO 27001, CISSP, CISA or CISM. In addition, you will need Business and Technical English Fluency and extensive hands-on IT security experience, with at least 4 years work experience related to enterprise security including experience gained in an applications security environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, business applications including mobility, information security standards, network architecture, business applications, as well as security related solutions such for detection and data loss prevention.
