Job Overview

Marketing Officers are responsible for overseeing the internal and external marketing campaigns of Phi Med. S/he helps create and distribute marketing strategies and campaigns to maximize profits through the development marketing strategies that match consumer requirements as well as promote services, products and ideas. Marketing officers, thus, identify products and markets, suggest promotional strategies and approaches, and measure the results of all the efforts. Their roles revolve around risk mitigation, content creation, creating a brand image, managing marketing expenses, funding, and company expansion.

Responsibilities & Duties

– Create and implement marketing strategies

– Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for the various services on a variety of media (print social etc.)

– Content creation

– Organize a calendar of marketing events, such as promotions, exhibitions, workshops, open days or fundraising activities

– Video recording, photography, and editing.

– Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness

– Liaise with the Clinic Supervisor and Medical Director to promote success of activities and enhance the organization’s presence

– Evaluate the success of marketing efforts using various metrics and prepare reports

– Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth

– Collaborate with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses

– Plan, prepare and manage the publication and distribution of publicity materials

– Prepare content for the publication of marketing material and oversee distribution

– Write, edit and proofread marketing material for use in different channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn)

– Write press releases and communicate with the media

Competency (knowledge, skills, & abilities)

– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing

– Minimum 3 years of experience in Marketing

– Bilingual (Arabic & English)

– Excellent photography and videography skills

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Experienced in marketing software (Adobe Premier, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom or DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro)

– Animation skills are a plus

– Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles

– Thorough understanding of social media and web analytics

– Creativity and commercial awareness

– Strong attention to details
