Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering from a reputeduniversity

Experience

• More than 7 years of relevant experience in a similar electric utility of which minimum 3+years of supervisory experience preferably in the area of electricity control systems
• Good knowledge about international standards and Kahramaa standards and practices
• Has good experience in switching operations and commissioning procedures of HV / EHV equipment considering the safety rules of power system operation and has enough knowledge about different types of testing required before, during and after energizing.
• Good experience in Commissioning of Substations
• Good interpersonal skills and maturity of judgment
• Fluent in English correspondence. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
• Computer literate and presentation skill
• Job requires Engineer to work in Shifts
• Must pass authorization interview and qualify as Senior Authorized person
