A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Operations Manager to join our customer, a Facilities Management company in Qatar!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Familiarization with Facility Management and Maintenance way of tendering.
• Aware of the required frequency related to each equipment/system.
• Must have a strong understanding and knowledge of how to estimate the PPM & CM cost of all MEP systems.
• Skilled enough to do value engineering for all the critical systems in terms of sustainability based on OEM’s recommendations compared to tender requirements.
• Acquire previous performance life history from the critical equipment database with number of breakdowns and type of material replacement.
• While preparing the cost, should look on the spare parts replacement frequency prospective in order not to exaggerate the PPM unit rate.
• Confident in estimating a Comprehensive bid in the absence of spare parts list and consumables.
• To be fully aware about the relative OEMs per system as well as local authorized specialists who shall be deployed under AMC.
• Fully adapted and understanding of the methodology of Operation of Central Plants including Centrifugal Chillers, Cooling towers and Main pumps with all associated supplementary.
• Managing the operation of running contracts; in terms of controlling cost, assigning the adequate manpower as per proposal submission.
• Capable to prepare and submit the proper work orders to any change occur to the contract requirement.
• Liaising with Clients for the smooth running of the contracts and attending the monthly progress meetings.
• Participate in the preparation and submission of Business and Budget Plans for Board’s approval.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Have a solid 15 years of experience (at least 10 years in Facility Management Industry)
• Have a background in Tender Department

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
