Are you passionate and rigorous about putting every application to the test before users work with them? Have you successfully implemented test strategies and planned, organized and controlled the testing activities required to achieve your testing goals? We are looking for someone like that who can help us to:

– analyze and identify testing requirements for the application and its technical environment
– define and implement the test strategy
– develop and maintain test plans
– design and execute test cases using design techniques and good practices to optimize test coverage
– identify and report defects and work with the development teams to resolve
– co-ordination and tracking of testing activities
– progress reporting and presentation of test results to the global audience
– implement or support the implementation of automated testing for the application
– Support training activities for future users

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. The stream provides seamless digital trading access and solutions to our clients and cover front to back processes across the securities trading value chain.

You will be working in the Sophisticated Trading Tools Team in Qatar on a new state of the art trading tool.. As the Senior Test Engineer you will be key in defining our test strategy and driving all testing activities. You will be working closely with other IT aligned teams around the globe ensuring the software deliveries meet the highest quality standards.

– a university degree in IT or related field
– 5+ years experience testing in the banking/finance sector, including test management responsibilities
– strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
– experience with manual and automated testing and the leading tools used for both
– In depth expertise on testing both front and backend components and functionality
– experience using basic Oracle SQL scripting to investigate data processing.
– competent with unix shells and file management.
– strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– excellent communication and collaboration skills
– self-driven, motivated and a highly engaged professional
– familiar with working in Agile environments
– fluent in English, especially technical vocabulary
