Job Description

Urgently hiring

1. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1.1 Prepares housekeeping attendants job assignments.
1.2 Issues keys and supplies to room attendants and house attendants.
1.3 Takes note of VIPs, Do Not Disturb, sleep out, double-lock rooms and takes
appropriate action.
1.4 Attends daily meetings and receives special instructions.
1.6 Receives special requests from guests and carries them out.
1.7 Attends to guest complaints.
1.8 Inspects areas cleaned using checklist to see that cleaning is adequate,
supplies in room are as per standard and need for immediate repairs are
reported.
1.9 Makes maintenance report for room or item in need of repair and follows-up to
ensure work is completed satisfactorily.
1.10 Fills out report and hands over found articles to the lost and found
department.
1.11 Supervises cleaning of guest rooms, corridors and stairwells.
1.12 Trains and assists room attendants and advises Executive Housekeeper if
performance is not satisfactory.
1.13 Supervises special cleaning of rooms.
1.14 Checks and orders supplies for designated floors.
1.15 Assists with inventory.
1.16 Ensures that all housekeeping machines and equipment are properly handled
and maintained.
1.17 Evening Housekeeping supervisor supervises turn down service.
2. General Responsibilities
2.1 Promotes efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of
social skills.
2.2 Promotes and ensures good inter-departmental relations.
2.3 Displays a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promotes a
good company image to guests and colleagues.
2.4 Demonstrates pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all times
when representing the hotel thus identifying a high level of commitment.
2.5 Adheres to Company and Hotel rules and regulations at all times.
